Fall 2009
Food, power and water — our global culture is facing major challenges with respect to each of these resources. But there are feasible and creative solutions, which will be explored by the speakers coming to NJIT for the 2009-2010 Technology and Society Forum Series. In a continuing Forum tradition, the new Series also includes a lecture and musical presentation by pianist and educator Richard Alston. In “Classically Black,” Alston will present the work of composers of African descent who have made significant contributions to classical music.
